Steel braided hoses kit MCH385V2, front
The TRW-Lucas range includes steel-braided hoses for almost all brake and clutch systems. All hoses comply with the international standard FMVSS 106. Produced in Germany (Neuwied) the range includes motorcycle-specific, ready-to-fit hose sets, or individually produced hoses. They can be selected by length, connections and sleeve.
Advantages of steel-braided hoses over rubber hoses:
• Significant improvement in pressure point
• Longer brake fluid replacement intervals
• No product ageing or wear Individual designs by colour and length available
• Weight reduction, e.g. distributors can also be removed
• In contrast to steel-braided hoses, rubber hoses have to be replaced every 5 years.
