Old batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries free of charge at our shipping depot. You are legally obliged as a consumer to return used batteries.
Contaminated batteries are marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines its classification as pollutant:

"Cd" stands for cadmium.
"Hg" stands for mercury.
"Pb" stands for lead.

Vehicle batteries that are not installed in vehicles (compulsory deposit)
§ 10 BattG provides for a compulsory deposit amounting to 7.50 euros including VAT, if the consumer at the time of purchase of a new vehicle battery does not return a vehicle battery. The deposit will be refunded upon return of a vehicle waste battery.

This means that we are forced to sell a vehicle battery you as a buyer this amount of € 7.50 incl. VAT. to invoice.
The battery deposit will be refunded upon return of the old battery, upon presentation of the invoice copy for the new battery.
The old battery can be returned to us in the shop or on the way (Paid shipping for the buyer).
